ABOUT CHRISTMAST AND OTHER HOLIDAY ORDERS - Christmas is our busiest ordering time of the year for handmade toys. Orders placed for handmade toys after December 10th are NOT guaranteed Christmas delivery and may be delivered after Christmas. Handmade toy orders for other holidays must be placed at least 30 days in advance for guaranteed holiday delivery.This is due to the fact that handmade toys are not common stock items and crafters make many orders after they are ordered.

Ordering Alert!
Due to the toys on The Handmade, Homemade
Toy Shop being handmade and not "on-the-shelf", mass-manufactured
toys, the shipping dates are based on the ability to hand make each
and every item.
For this reason, our regular shipping
is normally 4-6 weeks. Around Christmas, artisans do anticipate
higher volumes of orders and just to help Santa out, there are more
handmade toys on hand made throughout the year. However, these do
go quickly and there can absolutely be no guarantee that handmade
items will be shipped before Christmas if the orders are placed
after December 10.
If orders are placed after December
10, artisans realize that it is usually a Christmas order, but do
not EXPECT it to be delivered before Christmas. If it can be made
and delivered, it will be, but there is no guarantee of that. Production
schedules may already be full for any of the items and the production
and delivery of items just may not be physically possible - and
the artisans certainly do not want to send out less than high-quality
work.
